Do you want to join us for Smutathon 2020?
So SMUTATHON 2020 is only two weeks away and all of us on the committee cannot contain our excitement. For various global and local reasons, 2020 has been pretty crap and we have all been looking forward to this weekend since last year!
The Endo Stories that we have been sharing in preparation for 26th September have also shown really clearly just how damaging and painful endometriosis can be, so we are especially grateful to all of you who have donated for helping us support Endometriosis UK – and we plan to raise much, much more!
But what if you want to do more than donate? What if you want to join us in our smut writing challenge?
Here is everything you need to know!
There are several ways to get involved with Smutathon – either join our challenge or set your own! While the main Smutathon challenge will be 12 hours of continuous writing from 12pm to 12am on Saturday 26th September, we understand that not everyone can commit to this amount of time so we hope that you can find a way that works best for you.
Fancy joining the whole 12 hour writing challenge?
We are looking for authors to join us in publishing their writing on this site during the 12 hour challenge from 12pm to 12am. If you’re interested in joining the team, we will give you access to the site to publish your posts and you’ll get a bio on the author page.
If you have one, you can also post your work on your own blog at the same time as it’s published on Smutathon. All posts will be promoted on our Twitter feed and we’ll include them in the round up following the end of the event.

Can’t commit to the full 12 hours at one go?
If you want to join in but either can’t work for 12 hours all at once or can’t work during the exact hours we’re writing, you can set your own challenge.
Set your own time, set your own limits, do whatever feels like a challenge to you!
Once you’ve written your post, you can link it to our links page – the page goes live on 19th September and the link party opens at 12pm on September 26th. It’ll stay open until midnight on Sunday night so there’s plenty of time to join us.
Want to write but don’t have your own blog?
We are very happy to accept guest posts during the 12 hour challenge – simply email them to us at the address above and we can upload them to the site.
